The Golf Course Sewage Plant will ruin our unique Island Paradise, our tranquility, our views, our quality of life, our cost of living, our property value rate of increase, our bank accounts, our safety, our security . . .

“Golf Course Improvement Project” could mean anything.
It deceptively brings to mind whatever the audience imagines: upgrading the greens, fixing the water sprinkler systems, fiddling around with the Pro Shop again, or remodeling the Restaurant.
The Coronado Government Dunces could have more specifically named their Boondoggle to tell you exactly what it is, but they refused to be specific and informative.

No. In Coronado, the historical pattern of the positive word ‘improvement’ or ‘enhancement’ in the vague title of a Government project means only one thing: It’s a dangerous Government Boondoggle Scam that you don’t want or need.
